International Paper in Springfield Oregon needed their gearbox repaired in a hurry, so they turned to Mar-Dustrial and our Falk-RENEW services. They brought us a Foote-Jones Model 22DVV gear drive unit, with a ratio of 38.19.1, weighing 14,000 pounds – that’s a 7 ton piece of machinery! It was used at International Paper in their mill as an outlet device drive.
The drive arrived on 11-10-14 for repair. As you can see there is rust on the drive and it wasn’t running properly. Our team got to work right away!
After 166 man hours Mar-Dustrial was able to fix the gear drive, get it on the truck, and back en route to the mill site on the early evening of 11-14-14. Mar-Dustrial was able to meet their needs and they were pleased with our Falk RENEW service.
