That’s why it’s so important for Falk gearbox distributors to ensure that our employees not only have a thorough understanding of gears and drives, but that they know how to apply these components to improve productivity and reduce downtime for our customers. To help distributors better educate their sales teams on gearbox repairs and applications, the Power Transmission Distributors Association offers workshops to allow distributor sales personnel to experience firsthand the application basics of mechanical power transmission equipment.
This year’s Product Application Workshop takes place April 19-20 in Dearborn, Mich. It’s geared toward sales staff and potential sales staff with fewer than three years of experience in the mechanical power transmission equipment industry, as well as those who would like a refresher.
Our sales staff always finds hands-on experience with gearbox repairs and troubleshooting invaluable in helping us better serving our customers’ needs. The Product Application Workshop is just one way of obtaining such experience.
